When you are on a phone call, your mobile data connection remains active, allowing you to use data services such as browsing the internet or using apps while on the call. When an unknown number calls, it could be anyone from a potential employer, a friend or family member using a new phone, a telemarketer, or even a scammer. To make phone calls using mobile data, you can use various apps such as WhatsApp, Skype, FaceTime, or Google Duo. These apps allow you to make voice and video calls over the internet using your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection. Simply download the app, sign up for an account, and then you can make calls to other users who also have the same app installed. Make sure you have a stable internet connection to ensure good call quality. **

The amount of data used during mobile phone calls can vary depending on the type of call and the network being used. On average, a standard voice call using a 3G network can use around 1-2 MB of data per minute, while a call using a 4G or 5G network may use less data due to more efficient compression techniques. However, if the call is made using a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service such as Skype or WhatsApp, the data usage can be higher, potentially reaching up to 1 MB per minute. Overall, the data usage for mobile phone calls can vary, but it is generally relatively low compared to other data-intensive activities such as video streaming or online gaming. **
